01Who we are

This website is operated by RSCompany Ltd ("RSCompany", "we", "us"), a company registered in Bulgaria that provides business brokerage and corporate finance advisory services. RSCompany is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@rscompanyadvisory.com.

02What data we collect

We collect only the data you choose to give us:

• Contact form. Your name, e-mail address, the role you select (business owner, buyer or investor, other) and the text of your message.
• Project information requests. In addition to the above: your company, position, country, phone number, buyer type and the reasons for your interest in a project.
• Correspondence. Anything you send us by e-mail or through other channels after the first contact.

We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not use this website to profile visitors.

03Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and to hold the first conversation about a sale, an acquisition or an investment. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To check whether a buyer is suitable for a project before sharing confidential information, and to prepare and manage a non-disclosure agreement. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the confidentiality of our clients' businesses (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To keep a record of our communication for as long as a transaction or a relationship is active, and to comply with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering checks where they apply. Legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

We do not send marketing e-mails unless you have asked to receive information about new projects. You can withdraw that request at any time by writing to us.

04Who sees your data

Your data is seen by RSCompany and the partners who work with us on a specific project. Where a transaction requires it, and only after you have agreed, we may share your name and company with the owner of the business you are interested in, or with lawyers, auditors and banks involved in the transaction. We use hosting and e-mail providers located in the European Union or covered by standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data.

05How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are deleted after 24 months. Data connected to a non-disclosure agreement or a transaction is kept for the duration of the agreement and for the period required by Bulgarian law afterwards, normally five to ten years for accounting and anti-money-laundering records.

06Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@rscompanyadvisory.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or the supervisory authority in your own country.

07Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for the site to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

08Security

Data submitted through this website is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. Information about businesses for sale is shared only under a signed non-disclosure agreement.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page.
